Sourced Box September 2017 unboxing

In July I made the decision to start getting more healthy and that had to include cutting out 2 of my favourite snacky foods,chocolate and crisps.

For me crisps was my favourite thing to eat and I would be able to eat so many packs but it wasn’t doing me any favours, I was never a big chocolate lover but would eat enough of it.

I cut these 2 things from my diet as they were things I would go to the most if I was feeling a little peckish. I found it easier than I thought I would to not eat them but it made such a difference for me not to eat them, and now I don’t miss eating them.

Last month I wanted something to snack on but didn’t want to eat to many ‘unhealthy’ snacks. I knew of sourced box so decided to give it a try, I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy the food that comes in the box but was surprised that I really enjoyed most of it, there will obviously be stuff I’m not keen on but that’s ok.

I thought I would do an unboxing post of what is in my box for this month.

I haven’t yet tried any of the snacks as i only received it Tuesday and I’ve been working so will definitely be trying them soon.

 

 

It’s been so long!

Hi everyone

So I’ve just realised that it has been 2 weeks since i last wrote a blog post, I need to get back into it, i spent this morning catching up on a weeks worth of blog posts from everyone because i haven’t been able to keep up to date with them.

I have been working loads and last week worked over 57 hours, so i was feeling pretty exhausted from that. The other thing which is probably the main thing that has stopped me from writing posts was me and my boyfriend of 8+ years splitting up, it effected me quite badly for a few weeks now and it was only a few days ago that i started feeling better about everything and realised i don’t need him to be happy. I’ve been getting intro my fitness, going out running regularly and doing workouts at home, this has improved my mood a lot.

I really want to get back to blogging more regularly as i enjoy it so much so thought i would start a blogging challenge so i can get back into writing posts that way, I’ve done the 30 day blogging challenge already so thought i would do the Harry Potter challenge this time. Posts for that will be starting tomorrow.

I look forward to getting back into blogging more and coming up with more blog post ideas.

 

Shopping haul

So yesterday I decided to go shopping as I wanted to get some new trainers,I had no intention of buying anything else but I got the trainers that I wanted and then ended up spending more money after that.

Because of this I decided to do a haul to show what I got.

This was the reason I went shopping in the first place and like i said this was going to be the only thing that i bought. There were so many trainers to choose from but i seen these and wanted them instantly,i love the colours,and i went for a run using them and they are so  comfortable to wear.

TK Maxx

iPhone 7 sports sleeve-£5.99

I have one of these sleeves but can no longer use it as it was for the iPhone 5,so I needed a new one. I only went in TK Maxx to have a look what they had, I seen this and had to get it at such a good price and its pink.

HMV

Audio mixx play 1 wireless Bluetooth earphones-£12.99

I got these more for when I go running as i hate having wires flying around getting in my way, so these are perfect, and again there pink. I used them when i went running yesterday and they are brilliant, the sound quality is great and they connect up to my phone really quickly.

Well that’s all that I bought on my little shopping trip spent so much more money than i was planning on spending but i bought stuff that i needed/will use so can’t tell myself off too much for it.

 

 

Looking back on the past year!

A few days ago I was thinking back to this time last year and at that time I didn’t think I was going to be where I am today.

As I said before last year was a bad time for me mentally. I was suffering with depression and anxiety all due to stress at work. I nearly left my old job this time last year but I didn’t because I didn’t see what the job was actually doing to me. Everyone around me was telling me I needed to do something to help myself.

There was a few months that I felt better and more myself,but then in October the same feeling in my head came back again. I didn’t want to do anything,my moods were quite low most of the time and if I was feeling good it wouldn’t take long for that to change again, I didn’t want to be around people and if I went into a low mood I had to be by myself. It was when all this started again that I did do something and I applied for another job.

I started my new job in January and since then I have never felt better. I occasionally have moments of anxiety still but not at all like I did before.

I then decided to start this blog and I am so happy that I did because this has been the other thing that I needed to help me. I never really done anything for myself before and when I thought about blogging I couldn’t do it,but I have been doing it since January and I’m so glad I did as I have had something to concentrate my time on when I’m not at work and not doing other things. 

I have now got 226 followers on this blog and want to thank everyone for the support that they give,as it just gives me more encouragement to carry on blogging.

YouTube!!

So I’ve done it…I’ve made a YouTube channel…and posted a video!!

I wanted to make a video to go alongside my blog post on my May bullet journal set up which you can read here.

May Bullet Journal set-up

I had a lot of fun setting up my bullet journal for this month, so thought I would write a post to show you all how I set up for the month of May. Its not exactly how I want it right now but I’m working on it and will get it how I want it with time.

I’m using the Moleskine classic squared notebook.

I started with making a key for my bullet journal that I can follow, and then moved on to my index pages.

For the first actual page I done a year overview for 2017.

I had to make a books to read page as I have so many books that I want to read, and once I have read each one I will colour the books in.

Next is my May title page

I am keeping track of when I drink plenty of water each day, eat well, check Instagram, twitter and WordPress, publish a new blog post, and when I have read my book and eat breakfast as I very rarely eat in the morning but want to try and eat breakfast more.

I then made a page for my blog this includes blog post ideas that I have had during the month and then a blog stats tracker in the corner to track at the beginning of each month.

This is followed by a page with goals that I have set myself.

And then the weekly spreads which aren’t perfect and I’ve got to add things to the weeks ahead as I have done each week of May already, and I can just add bits that I want when I want to.

There is so much more that I want to gradually add into my bullet journal as there is other things that I know I want to keep track of, but that’s the best thing with a bullet journal you can add and take away things as much as you want, you only need to add what you need.

My weekend 6th and 7th May 2017!

I had the weekend off from work so I stayed with my boyfriend for the weekend.

Saturday

On Saturday we spent the day fishing,it was a really nice sunny day and it was so peaceful and relaxing to be sat outside for the day not having to worry about anything else.Even had sausage sandwiches for lunch and then burgers for dinner whilst fishing with endless cups of tea throughout the day.We packed up at about 8:30pm and went home,and just spent the rest of the night relaxing and watching TV.


Sunday

Sunday was more of a chilled relaxed day, I hadn’t had much sleep on Saturday night so I was really tired and not really up for doing anything.

We went to a local café for breakfast, which was delicious.

We then went to our friends house as it had been his birthday on Saturday but  due to us fishing we hadn’t been able to go and see him so went round Sunday as we had a present for him, we stayed there for the afternoon, then went down to where we had been fishing on Saturday as a friend was fishing there, and stayed there for about an hour before going home, then we just relaxed for the rest of the evening watching TV.
